About
Learn how the F.I.T. Number works
What is the F.I.T. Number?
F.I.T. stands for Fitness Index Total.
My F.I.T. Number is designed to measure your overall fitness across cardio, gymnastics, and weightlifting.
Being great at one thing is valuable — but true fitness comes from being well-rounded.
This system challenges you to build strength, endurance, and skill across all areas.
How It Works
Total Movements
Levels Per Movement
Max Possible Score
Each movement has 5 levels. Complete the standard for a level to earn that many points.
Your F.I.T. Number is the total of all your current movement levels.
It does not matter which movements you earn your points from — your score reflects your overall capability.
Example
The Rolling 12-Month System
Your fitness is always changing.
Every movement result is valid for 12 months
After 12 months, it expires if not retested
Expired movements no longer count toward your score
This ensures your F.I.T. Number always reflects your current fitness, not past performance.
The Three Categories
Cardio
Tests your cardiovascular endurance and work capacity.
Examples: Running, Rowing, Air Bike, Jump Rope
Gymnastics
Tests bodyweight strength, control, and coordination.
Examples: Pull-ups, Handstands, Muscle-ups, Push-ups
Weightlifting
Tests strength, power, and barbell skill.
Examples: Squat, Deadlift, Clean & Jerk, Snatch
Higher F.I.T. Numbers come from being well-rounded across all three categories.
F.I.T. Intelligence
Your F.I.T. Number is more than a score. It comes with built-in analysis to help you understand your fitness at a deeper level.
Strengths
See what you excel at based on your movement history. Identify where you're performing at a high level across all three categories.
Performance Imbalances
Uncover gaps in your training. Find underdeveloped areas and category imbalances that may be holding you back.
Training Focus
Get targeted recommendations based on your weaknesses to help you improve balance and increase your F.I.T. Number.
This analysis updates as your results change — giving you a clear direction on what to train next.
